Cheese Burger Cassarole

A simple but delicious casserole.

Standard Serving: 6 people
  • 1.00 Lbs Ground Beef
  • 1.50 cups Pasta Sauce
  • 1.00 Medium Sized Onion, chopped or diced
  • Some Garlic, for flavour
  • 6.00 Servings of Pasta
  • 3.00 Cups of Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Salt and Pepper
  1. Begin cooking the noodles
  2. In a large pot or sauce pan, begin browning the hamburger (season to taste) and onions, adding the garlic when the hamburger is almost done
  3. Drain off the excess fat
  4. Return to pot and add pasta sauce, salt, and pepper
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally
  6. When the noodles are done, drain and add to the pot with the sauce and hamburger
  7. Stir and fold until the noodles are coated (with the sauce)
  8. Add shredded cheese
  9. Turn-off or reduce heat more, and cover the casserole until cheese is melted
  10. Serve
